Live Oak Trees
Walking up the path to the plantation.
These trees are so very old, they have seen so much!
They have deep, strong roots to keep them firmly planted.
Even the back of the plantation is gorgeous!
And the side, so detailed!
A garage holds a couple of antique cars.
You've probably seen this plantation in a few movies. Of course I had to take the tour inside, but we weren't allowed to take photos in there. This is the Oak Alley Plantation.
We were allowed to take some photos from the balcony. I just love the trees!
Can you believe these trees were planted years before the house was built?! Amazing. In fact, this guy built the house because he found the line of trees. He was hoping to lure his wife away from the New Orleans party life, lol.
As seen from the road! :0)
