Cajun Encounters
While in Louisiana we decided to go on a swamp tour. While waiting I watched the kitties.
We went on the tour hoping to see some gators, by our boat. All we ended up seeing was trees, water, remnants of places Katrina wiped out and a Cajun Hottub.
When we got back to shore our tour guide took us to hold a baby gator.
Me holding the little one. The point and shot didn't like the low light, but we didn't take the more expensive cameras on the boat, so this was all we could do.

Cute croc! And that hot tub is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHow cool you got to hold a little croc...they are so cute at this size! :) Wouldn't want to be near one much bigger lol I too love the hot tub...creative swamp cruise for sure!
ReplyDeleteThey sure are small compared to the adults. We drove through Louisiana on our way to Texas. I want to go back, there's so much to see.
ReplyDeleteCute little fella. Looks like a fun tour even though you didn't get to see any of the big boys.
ReplyDeleteI have lived in Texas along the coast for more than 20 years, getting close to 30. I see gator signs everywhere! It wasn't until last Saturday that I saw my first gator--loose in a cow pasture along the side of the road. Let's just say I hoped I did not have a flat tire! I would have been scared to death because boy was it big!
ReplyDeleteNow that sounds like a great experience.
ReplyDeleteThat baby alligator is so cute. But they sure look menacing when they grow up!
ReplyDeleteLisa,
