ReplyDeleteI would have never though to photograph cantaloupe seeds. They're kinda gross, but I like the photographs!
ReplyDeleteSo, I cut the cantaloupes in my house. Every week they are in season, I halve it, clean it, cut it in large slices, remove the rind, put it in a container, and put it in the frige for lunches. Yum.
Too cool...and I had to share it with Sam. He LOVES cantaloupe!
ReplyDeleteThey look extremely delicious!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite summertime treats! Love the macro today.
ReplyDeleteThis will sound odd, but when I glanced at the first photo, I saw teeth!!! And then I realized what I was actually looking at...imagine a carnivorous cantaloupe, Yikes!
ReplyDeleteAw, I can only imagine how good the rest of it was! Happy MM.

ReplyDeleteWell Lisa, even the seeds look great in macro shots..
ReplyDeleteOkay, so I see I'm not alone. I'm with Laura, when I first saw the shot, I thought the seeds were teeth. I thought you were out crawling around on the road capturing road kill. LOL Glad to see it is only cantaloupe. Nice shots!

ReplyDeleteNice to see the beauty in ordinary things. I like the colors in your cantaloupe seed macros.
ReplyDeleteThat first one does look like teeth! Alligator teeth, maybe, if the alligator brushed regularly and had slightly orangey gums. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI'm late - but I'm here, and my post is up!
At first glance, the seeds look like teeth - I was wondering what kind of c antelope you were eating, that had teeth - of course, I'm just razzing.
ReplyDeleteMade me smirk, that you ate all the good parts :)
[...] My new tattoo work from yesterday! Lets see what other close ups we can see at Lisa’s Macro Monday. [...]

ReplyDeleteLovely luster to the seeds... they look good enough to eat themselves! Gorgeous images... your creative thinking about what to photograph gives me ideas for future macro experiments!
ReplyDeleteYou've now given us all a good idea to take macro shots to make pumpkin seeds look like monstrous teeth.
ReplyDeleteOooh, that top one looks like TEETH!
