okay, now i'm jealous. you've got some really great heron pics and i have zilch... well, that's not entirely true, i do have some blue heron pictures but not this good. i can't wait til my photos have this same clear and focused look to them. these are wonderful photos. hope all is well.
I can't believe I stopped by when I did. Blue herons have been a symbol of peace and well-being for me for years upon years. Something inside me just melts when I see herons. I had a business named Blue Heron Yoga for 6 years. This is so grand I can hardly contain myself. Could you tell?
Oh. my. gosh. All are incredible, the first shot and the last shot are my favorites, but you are so, so good! I love, love love blue herons, the way they fly like pterodactyls...

We get a great blue heron in our yard every so often.. Its very majestic to watch it wing it's way back to it's nesting site at sunset.
