I love tulips, I wish their blooms lasted longer, but still, I love them! I had to catch them right as they were opening.
And I had to examine all parts.
Their petals are like feathers.
Their leaves like little canoes.
Their centers like little parasols and windchimes.

ReplyDeleteSo lovely! Tulips don't grow here due to our hot weather, unless inside a greenhouse, but I can still find them in the florists. They are imported from Holland.

ReplyDeleteI love tulips too. My son lives in the tulip land Holland and precisely in Amsterdam, but for motherday he forgot the tulips but he brought me .... a cute ceramic cat ! lol !

ReplyDeleteYour tulips are a really lovely colour - unusaual - you mostly see red/ yellow/ white - the softer shades not that often. Love the detailed macro images ... seems we were doing he 'same" thing .. mine were irises.... ;-)
