For the last two years I've been pretty embarrassed by any photos I've tried to snap with my blackberry. But about a week ago I got my new cell phone, and a little bit of my decision was made because it has a 5 megapixel camera. Yes, I have a huge camera (Canon 5D), a medium camera (Canon 50D), a point and shoot (Fuji Finepix waterproof), and finally an ok cell camera. The cell camera comes in really handy to post a photo to my facebook immediately and to snap things while out and about that I would normally have to dig out another camera for. But here, it's always on my phone and ever ready.
So yesterday, while we biked part of the green circle trail and paused for a rest I was able to share my rest stop easily.
Has anyone lost a camera or two? Really, there's people who still don't do digital? lol
And today, I can show you how wonderful our weather is, yet again. Yeah, I'm loving my android!
Those are some great photos! My Hubby and youngest daughter have the Hero. I got the Moment because I wanted the slide out keyboard. They really do take some pretty good pictures and it's nice to have a small camera handy when you don't want to lug the big, heavy ones around!
ReplyDeleteSomebody recently told me they had an 8Mpx camera in a phone. I find that a bit of a stretch, but who knows? Personally I'm still working on the 5D MkII and the G11. I'll worry about the phone camera some other time.

Wow. I have always LOVED HTC. I've had three of their phones over the last 4 years and have been in love with each of them. Now I have my eye on the Hero, thanks to this post :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the new camera phone. Part of the reason I got the motorola zine a couple years ago was because it would shoot a 5 mgpx shot too. And it does real well when we're hoseback somewhere. :)
