Sometimes you just stumble upon something that you think you must have. I found this little furry puppy at a convenience store and thought my granddaughter would like it.
It fits perfectly in her hand and has a button on the bottom, that when pressed, it barks.
I decided to snap a few shots before giving it to her, since she's so little I'm sure it quickly got all mussed up, but that's totally ok. I wonder if she found the rabbit fur softness soothing, I did as a child.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
That is adorable! I'm sure your granddaughter will love it.
ReplyDeleteLisa, I couldn't use McLinky, said it was "closed". First time I've encountered this. I'm posted, here: http://www.murrieta365.com/2010/03/macro-monday_28.html
ReplyDeleteDitto what Jan said - McLinky is closed. So here's mine:

I think the error is, this is last week's McLinky! Sorry for all the comments.
ReplyDeleteYour Puppy looks a lot like my dandelion!! http://www.murrieta365.com/2010/03/macro-monday_28.html
Yay...how adorable!!fun! great macros!!
ReplyDeleteKiki~
I can't imagine your granddaughter NOT liking it.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute nose! It's a lovely gift for your grandaughter. :)
ReplyDeleteI still have a real rabbit fur that my Dad bought me when I was a young girl. I don't know why I never found it a bit macabre because now that I'm saying it to the entire internet, I'm thinking it was a bit weird. But real or fake, it is beautifully soft. Cute puppy! I've macroed my bad housekeeping over at our place ....
ReplyDeleteI still love fluffy toys like this! Always make me go into AWWWWWWW zones! And especially love the little button nose!
ReplyDeleteYep....they still make me go awwwwwww!!! Totally agree with Gemma!! Great Shots Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteHow very cute. We are expecting our first grandchild this summer. It's a girl! I can't wait to buy her little ditties like that. When they are little it is so easy to make them happy. I just love that part of little kids. I bet she loved it.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way when it comes to giving my granddaughters something. They should enjoy it and when it gets all messed up I'll get something new. :)
ReplyDeleteThis made a cute macro!
Now, that is one cute macro! What clever shots you took of this adorable face! I just love it!
ReplyDeleteI am seriously starting to think that we have some weird kind of connection - we both have a macro shot of a nose this week! And again, I wrote my post before coming here. Spooky - again!
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo cute! I hope the little one will have a great time playing with it.
ReplyDeleteThat top image is seriously one of the cutest macros I've seen.
ReplyDeleteIt's very cute. How clever of you to photograph it before giving it away. :)
ReplyDeleteLisa, your macros make me think of a seed that is ready to fly away. Since we are doing macros, up close shots, one does not always know that the actual thing is, not a puppy, but it is a puppy. Wonderful photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet furry puppy. I'm sure yr granddaughter would love it. I know I do :)
Not only your granddaughter will like it, me too ! It's just so adorable (like a cat nose, lol)
ReplyDeleteToo, too cute. I think designers of small toys like this are unsung artists. A great photo set, also.
ReplyDeleteSo cute :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful macros!
He is so cute! I want one. I love that first shot of his tiny little nose.
ReplyDeletethat's a really cute one, no wonder you stumbled over that :-)
ReplyDeleteIt made great macro shots and I'm sure your granddaughther will love it!
How sweet! And how lucky of you to find it!
ReplyDeleteI bet she will love it! I adored furry things when I was young! Come to think of it, I still do - only now I prefer them living and breathing!
ReplyDeleteI do have a favourite scarf though, made of long wool sheepskin. It is SO comforting in winter, but the only drawback is that in the wind, I get a mouthful of sheep's hair! LOL!
Cute pictures!
That one is so cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your granddaughter will love it, it's adorable!
ReplyDeleteOh that's so soft and cuddly! Beautiful macro, Lisa!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!
ReplyDeleteSo cute!! That nose seemed so life-like in the first photos, I thought it might be a real pup! Has your granddaughter decided on a name for this little cutie? Happy Day, Lisa :o) ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThat is soooo cute! I bet she loved it!
ReplyDeleteThat is a really cute furry puppy. I'm sure your granddaughter will love it. :)
ReplyDeleteAwww ... too cute ;-)

ReplyDeleteI need some grandchildren to be able to give me an excuse to buy little cuddly things like this. It looks just sooooooo soft.
ReplyDeleteSo cute and hug gable.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week.
Lovely photos of a neat little puppy. I can't imagine a child not loving this little guy to pieces. Fuzzy wuzzy was a bear. Fuzzy wuzzy had no hair. So fuzzy wuzzy wasn't fuzzy was he?
ReplyDeleteSOOOO Adorable!
ReplyDeleteLisa, that is not only adorable, it's so thoughtful. I, too, loved soft things as a child and still do, to wear or for blankets. Terrific photos. Fun toy!
ReplyDeletesuper cute furry guy!
ReplyDeleteThis is Absolutely Awesome! I LOVE it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure she loved it. I'm equally sure her parents are cursing you for getting the child a barking toy. But isn't that the cool part of being a grandparent? Inflicting noise on your children in retribution? I won't have to help with that for a bit yet. My brand new grandson is still making plenty of noise on his own... at all hours (he said gleefully).
ReplyDelete(I'm terrible, aren't I?)
That is adorable!!!
