Cause for Alarm book giveaway
Erica Spindler is an author I love reading! I found a couple of books I hadn’t read on eBay and this one was a duplicate for me so thought I’d pass it on. If you like a good thriller, just leave me a comment for Cause for Alarm. Like the others, I’ll do the random generator on Friday, November 28th and announce the winner.
November giveaways just because. Click me to check out the others.
The Mephisto Club Book Giveaway
Tess Gerritsen is an author I discovered recently and am really enjoying her medical suspense novels. In my eagerness to buy all she has written, I bought an eBay auction of 8 books, four of which are duplicates for me. So if you’re interested in The Mephisto Club, just leave me a comment. I’ll do the random generator on Friday, November 28th and announce the winner.
November giveaways just because. Click me to check out the others, 6 in all.
Free salt and pepper shaker
A few years ago we found these cute little salt and pepper shakers at a garage sale. They made us giggle. I could tell you what we think they are supposed to be, but maybe I would prefer to hear your ideas.
They have sat in their box since we bought them, being moved around and laughed at each time they turn up. But I’ve had my time of joy and would now like to pass them on.
So, after you have made your guess as to what they are, just let me know if you’d like them and I’ll do a random generator on Friday, November 28th and announce the winner. Be sure and let me know if you’d like any of the books I’m giving away too.
Adorable faces!! November giveaways just because. Click me 6 giveaways total. Enter one or all!

Altered Bloggy Books
Ok, I know I promised to do this Thursday so please forgive me for getting behind. Still trying to recoup from having been sick. Anywho, I have compiled a list of people who I think are wanting to be a part of our Altered Bloggy Book Round Robin.
If I have you on the list and I'm wrong, or you've changed your mind just let me know.
If you're not on the list and you want to be a part of things, let me know that too.
Here's who I have so far:
We do have room for a few more if anyone else wants to join in. If you want more information just check out my original post regarding this idea and the links there.
How about we mail out our books after the holidays, January 5th-9th. This will give you a chance to find a book you want to use, and create your cover. Can you tell I've been working on mine?
I need to get everyone's mailing addresses so I can figure out who will be sending to whom. I will try to have us mailing to the person nearest us so the books spend as little time in the mail as possible. Also, I will only be passing your address on to one person, the person who will be mailing to you and you will always be mailing to the same person.
Let's do this thing. :)
I've started a blog for us over here and am working on getting everyone invited inside.

The tortoise, minus the hare
Hungry Tortoise heading your way.
I love his pink tongue!
Maybe these two are fighting over the same patch of grass? Did you know tortoises fight? I didn’t, I just thought they rolled with the flow.
This one is my favorite in the series. He looks like he’s ready to race that rabbit.
I also never knew turtles lifted that high to walk. I guess I thought they just slid their shells along, or maybe I never really thought enough about them.
And another fight breaks out.

Well ruffle my feathers
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek
Isn’t that the cutest little butt you’ve ever seen?
How about his knot head?
The ring behind him is not a fart bubble {sorry dad (dad always said ladies did not use that word)}, but a raindrop splashing behind him.
You would think with the words Domestic and Goose in their name (I think this is a Domestic Swan Goose) that you would see them everywhere and they would be boring. But to be real honest the main geese I see are Canadian Geese and they’re the ones I’m tired and bored of.
We had a great day at the zoo in Minoqua on the day I took these, and this is the last creature I photographed before leaving the zoo, because while I was watching them, it began to pour. And as we entered our car it began to hail. And while we waited for the worst of the storm to pass we saw lighting strike very close and flashed red. So when I look at these, I think I will always think of the day we had.
