smiles

031711

Mysteriously, this happy face appeared on the door.  It was just what I needed to lift my spirits.

Some of the most beautiful things in life are too easily overlooked.

Smiling Butterfly

071310

A butterfly came to my flowers today and fed sporadically all day. He was a joy to watch. When he posed for some photos I was happy to find he was smiling. It made me smile too.

I've been doing this for 43 days now, only 11 of those photos are taken outside of my yard. I've been fortunate to find so much right here at home. I worry about what I will do through the long winter but am sure I can make it through. I had been hoping for a butterfly for a couple of weeks now and finally one came to me.  Sometimes it's easier for me to sit and write a couple of these posts at the same time, although the photos are taken each day, I just get lazy about hooking the camera up to the computer, lol.  And we've been very busy in the evenings so it seems currently morning is being an easier time for me to post.

Smiling Chipmunk

063010

As I click my camera, trying to share my view of this wonderful world, occasionally, something happens that is serendipitous.  I snapped away at this chipmunk nibbling and ended up with a smile from him for my effort.  When I saw the photo, as I unloaded the camera, it made me laugh and I hope it does you too!

Precious Addy

Adrianna

Just try to tell me that my little granddaughter isn’t precious. I took these photos of her at Tristan’s birthday party last month. She’s two months old and loves to smile.

And blow bubbles.

Tristan (and his dorito fingers) had to show me where her nose is.

Adrianna

Of course, that made her laugh.

Always start your day with a smile, and if you can't then grab your grandchild, they'll teach you how.
