Yellow and Orange

I chased this little fellow from flower to flower. I was surprised to see him here so late in the season. I took these in late October.

I was entranced by all the pollen on his legs.

Poor little fellow. :( It did make him more cooperative though.

I believe I am enjoying watching the flowers go to seed and the leaves fall from the trees just as much as I loved watching the buds and blooms form.

quivering

I feel very trapped tonight. I have to go for my CT scan tomorrow and I REALLY don't want to go.  I don't understand why I dread each one so much.  It's really not that big of a deal, the worst part is trying to get the IV started ~ all the same, I dread it and am a bundle of nerves.

A maze of emotions running 'round and 'round.  Blood tests completed, CT scan soon, then we wait and wait for the results to come in.  I'm pretty much an emotional wreck each time it's time for a follow-up.  With any luck, the emotions will all be upbeat when the verdict is read.

Leaf me chilly

There's something magical in a mountain of fallen leaves, so crisp and refreshing on a cool autumn day.

Then the snow start to pelt your head and you are quickly reminded that winter is on her way.

We had the earliest snow that I've seen since we've lived up here - October 12th!

Of course, it didn't stick around, thankfully!

And it did provide some interest for a few photos. :)
