Wisconsin Fun
The winters get mighty long up here, so you have to find tons of things to do in the snow, or hole up inside 7 months of the year, lol.
Just for giggles you can have someone go huddle on the ground, then aim the snow-blower at them and see how long it takes to cover them completely.
Or heck, make a competition of it and have someone time you, then switch places.
Be careful not to get too close to your victim.
You might have to adjust the spout so it aims better. But it doesn't take long at all to bury them.
Like magic, he's gone. From what he tells me, once he's covered it's not too cold inside, I haven't offered to be buried myself though.

Out for a drive
After blowing the driveway we had to get out and look around. Love the bright berries buried in snow. :)
Check out this sign, it looks like the snow is trying to push it off the building.
I think soon the sign may just say "Bug", lol
And Hallmark's Gold Crown appears to say "Cold Crown" and emphasizes the fact with some dangling icicles.
Just one of four piles in this parking lot. I know, the day was still dreary so it's hard to tell, but the pile is already as tall as some of the nearby buildings and this was our first snow! All through the winter you will find these piles in each parking lot, getting added to each time the lots are plowed.

Our little hitchhiker
We came out of Starbucks to find a hitchhiker on our antenna. Amazingly, he stayed there our entire drive home, about a mile, and I ran into the house and grabbed the camera.
I always love their cellophane wings! So dainty and happy looking!

God Smote You
About a month ago I figured out that it was every Wednesday evening and also heard songs drifting on the breeze. Aha, they’re having church.
I don’t intend to sound mean, cranky, whatever but it’s a little annoying when the sounds of songs and clapping drift through the window above my tv. They’re about a block away, but I don’t know which house. I do know, this is a residential neighborhood with five churches within a mile of us. So I think it odd that “church” is being held in someone’s yard.
This past Wednesday, tired after our long journey and feeling more than a little cranky over it, I bitched and moaned. Yep, I did. Hubby got up to peek out the window and see if he could see where they were and as he pulled the drape aside it fell down upon his head with a loud KA-WHACK!
As he rolled around on the floor in agony, the words of their song wafted in.
Reign(Rain?) down upon my head
Hm, hmm, hm
The Ghost of the Holy Spirit
Raining down upon my head.
Hm, hmm . . .
That’s all I caught but it was enough to send me into cackles. Hubby didn’t believe me when I was relaying the words to him so we were silent and he heard it too.
Me - God smote you.
Him - Smote? Are you sure that’s a word?
Me - I think so. Yeah, like smite, hitting hard, etc
He pulled himself up off the floor and I went to the window.
Him - If it falls on you too we’re going over there and joining them

What will they think up next?
humping dog
Really? A dog humping a USB drive? What will they think of next?! And don't you love how they blurred the "parts"! Oh if you feel you gotta have one I stumbled upon it over at The Coolest Gifts.
