Buddy and Boongie

lc1324

I’m sure I am spelling his name wrong but this is Boongie, I have been wanting to photograph him for quite some time and finally had the opportunity.

lc1317

I think he is such a beautiful cat - and I’m not a cat person.

lc1322

I love his little pink tongue! He’s very mellow and puts up with pretty much anything you do to him.

lc1320

This is Buddy, he is my future-daughter-in-law’s kitty and shares a house with Boongie.

lc1319

Buddy, looking serious. He contentedly posed in a windowsill.

lc1318

Trying to be nonchalant.

lc1315

Bye from Boongie!

Bye from Buddy!

Camera Critters

I just have to add a PS - I've been blogging for four years and these are my first cats.  Weird, huh?

Pet Cemeteries

PhotoStory Friday
Hosted by Cecily and MamaGeek

pet cemetery

Way in the back of a couple of human cemeteries in central Wisconsin I found pet sections, or Pet Land.

I wonder if that's Brandy's paw print.

All of the stones in this pet cemetery are flat. But I think it's so neat that these pets were so important to someone that they have their own space and stone.

So detailed! They seem unlikely friends, but I bet they were.

Muffin looks a little scary but I bet she wasn't.

I even found Pee Pee

And Pooper.

The second cemetery doesn't have a sign, but has flat and tall stones; you could almost not notice it was a pet section, if you didn't read the stones.

Shadow, Brownsville PD K-9, is amongst friends here.

The biggest stone belongs to a rescue dog.

Joplin is the town where I grew up, the place my kids were born.

Snuggles was the sheltie that liked to dress up.

While the areas are mostly filled with dogs and cats, I did find some bunnies.
