Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign Mr Linky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
I think someone needs some lotion.
But I won’t be helping with the application of said lotion.
This is the first time I've tried to Mr Linky ahead of time, and we are on vacation and away from the computers a bit. So if Mr Linky does not work, please leave your links in comments and visit each other that way. Fingers crossed that he works though.
Well, his nails are nicer than man, that's for sure!
ReplyDeleteNo amount of conditioner will make the skin softer unless they are turned into a bag or wallet! :o
ReplyDeleteWicked-cool shots!!!
ReplyDeletesee you later...alligator:)
These macros are terrific! Reptiles have such fabulous texture. I love the scales on the foot and the eyes look pretty cool too.
ReplyDeleteFabulous shots!
ReplyDeleteWhere'd you see that gator? Very cool pics. You should come down to Florida...I can get you even closer to some gators!!!
ReplyDeleteWhile he's quite beautiful the way he is - he'd be very soft as a purse! LOL
ReplyDeleteReminds me of that lotion commercial years ago with the gator. Great close ups. Hopefully you were using the long lens. Can't wait to hear about vacation!
ReplyDeleteGreat creepy shots Lisa! I played too...

ReplyDeleteHey Lisa! HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
ReplyDeleteGuess I'll go with the herd and link this week's entry and let it fall where it falls.
(And for the rest of you, no that doesn't have anything to do with the gator.)
Oh my, that's a bit too close for my liking but great shots none the less.
ReplyDeleteI love the last eye-shot.

ReplyDeleteThis is my first time participating in Macro Monday. I don't see Mr. Linky, so you can see my post at http://www.artsquadgraphics.com/blog/. Thanks for a wonderful photo meme.
ReplyDeleteAnd as for the alligator, oooh, how the heck did you do that? It's not like you really want to lean in close or anything. Delightfully scary and wonderful.
It's a dangerous skin ...
ReplyDeleteHave a happy vacation !
Ooooooo, that last shot was really scary, I never want to be that close to an alligator or crocodile. All of these are great shots... and I am with several others.. the thought of alligator shoes, boots or purses never intrigued me... although I did go through an eel phase...
ReplyDeletewow. what an animal! love it :) stunning photography you have there. I didnt post a macro shot, just found this through another meme.. i dont do much macro, but will try to come back :)
ReplyDeleteAs always the details in your macros thrills me.
ReplyDeleteYea, I finally posted a macro on Monday. Thank you for having me!
Since Tom suggested I get a little closer with my poppy shot, I have posted his request, I hope you all like it. Just take the link on my name.
ReplyDeleteI do feel like I look like that throughout most of winter.
ReplyDeleteI tried the mr. linky, but I do not know if it really worked. Anyway, thank you so much for hosting macro monday. I love the concept! Very interesting macro here, the eye is amazing. Love the details and colours.
ReplyDeleteMy shot is here: http://www.bilderdagrun.blogspot.com/
Yikes, I wouldn't be helping him with any lotion either, not that it's going to help him anyway!! Those are quite the detailed shots, that eye looks downright evil!!
ReplyDeleteFantastic series Lisa. The composition, the sharp details, the perfect exposure make this one of your best series on wildlife even if this were in captivity. Congratulations.
ReplyDeleteHe looks downright MEAN!!! And I don't think ANY lotion would help that dude....I hope you weren't too close taking the shots....they did come out great though!!
ReplyDeleteOh these are SO FASCINATING Lisa!
ReplyDeleteScarrrry! After while crocodile!
ReplyDeleteYikes, those are up-close and personal! *shudders*
