A New Beginning Photo Challenge

This is our first grandchild in my husband's arms. This represents a new beginning in our lives, one of not only being children to our parents, and parents to our children but the joyous stage of being grandparents who get to spoil then send home. All the joys of having children and little of the responsibilities. What a wonderful stage of life!

    That? Does not look like a happy kid. I guess if I'd just been yanked out of my nice warm bed into the cold light of day I'd be a little grumpy too though.

    Oh Congratulations - Isn't it a wonderful feeling. My 5th is due in April, and I am just as excited as I was about the 1st. Have a wonderful time loving that baby.

    What a photo. I found myself really taking in your husband's face--the peace, the love, the quiet contemplation of that beautiful wonder in his arms. So masculine, so tender. Wow. What a blessed baby!
