reflection
It's good to look at things from different angles, but don't forget to look a little closer. If you look deeper than the raindrop on a branch, you can see a reflection of the whole bush, its leaves a flaming red delight.

It has rained all day. :( This is the photo before I cropped it. Then I cropped in to just the droplet and flipped it.
The red bush sits at the corner of our house - you can see the house on the right, flaming bush with fake spiderwebs wrapped on it (grandkids helped me with that), the nearly all bare trees (really love those 2 yellow leaves sticking towards us from the naked tree), and I was very surprised to see that the gazebo in the backyard can be seen.

This is GREAT!
ReplyDeleteDid I leave a comment that it is a great shot? It is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteLOVE it! I've tried and tried to get rain drop photos like this, but still haven't got one I'm pleased with.
ReplyDeleteFun, Fun, Fun..... I love droplets of water through a macro. I hadn't thought to flip, what a fun idea. I will have to give it a try after our rain due on Tuesday down here. I'm so enjoying having found another midwesterner who likes to take pictures.
ReplyDeleteThat is completely amazing. Just the capture of the droplet is beautiful, but flipping it and zooming in on it ... I love the way your mind works!
ReplyDeleteOh I just loved this!! I love it both ways ... but I'm amazed at how much you can see the droplet once it is flipped! Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteStunning....those reflections are incredible!
