THE STORM IS EXPECTED TO REACH AN INTENSITY LEVEL NORMALLY OBSERVED ONLY A FEW TIMES EACH DECADE...AND THE AREA HAS NOT BEEN AFFECTED BY A STORM THIS STRONG IN YEARS. ~I find this very exciting!

ReplyDeleteWow. I live in a tropical country and it will never snow in Singapore. I don't know what a blizzard can do, but I'm also excited to see one. :P
ReplyDeleteExciting yes! Stay inside for the worst of it...then go out and take your pictures....we KNOW you will be out there with your camera!! Look forward to seeing your view of the blizzard...I've stocked up and don't plan on going out for awhile!
ReplyDeletesnow is exciting! no white christmas for us here in the Philippines, though :(

WOw, such a beautiful Christmas display. So nice and bright. Have fun in the blizzard. :)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't mind the blizzard, just the cleanup afterward. We are so snow-removal impaired down here.
ReplyDeleteBut I really really LOVE these shots! Fa-la-la-la and all.
Snow day!!! Well...at least that's what my kids are hoping for (...we shall soon find out!). The newly fallen snow looks so peaceful outside, not yet disturbed by footprints or tire tracks... Enjoy the snow Lisa!!
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't have to go out or be outside. Looking at a blizzard from inside can be cozy, but still...
ReplyDeleteI´m looking forward to seeing pictures of the "event"! Today´s were so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteGood luck! I would love to have a blizzard!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos & as long as you have a safe haven, a blizzard would be very exciting! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteCOME TO FLORIDA! lol. Stay safe girlfriend. :)
ReplyDeleteThat does sound exciting but only because I get to experience it through you LOL It's a warm 71 here - which makes looking at your snow pics even better.
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas decorations. Enjoy you blizzard. We are in the middle of one here in Southern New Hampshire and the kids have a snow day, but yours sounds like it will be worse than ours. I hope you have stocked up on hot chocolate!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful shots! I'm just 'learning' how to take pictures in the winter, so I am glad that I got to see your representation of it! Lovely job! I, too, am part of the country's blizzard right now. I live in Iowa, and, basically, the entire state is shut down! It's pretty nasty right now, but at least I know some lovely pictures can result from it. :) Happy WW!
ReplyDeleteLucky you! I'm down in Milwaukee, lil less snow lot more rain weighin it down :)
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are beautiful but, brrrrr, just the thought of a blizzard. I'm in Phoenix, Arizona, where the high today is 59 degrees. I can appreciate the beauty of a snowstorm but I sure don't miss driving on the slick black ice. Thanks for sharing your photos!
ReplyDeleteI hope your bundled up and warm
ReplyDeleteIs that your house? It looks so festive.
How did it go? Did you get 8-14"? We are working on about 8" here in MA right now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous pics!!
ReplyDeleteWhat FESTIVE photos while you wait! Brrrrrr ... blizzard excitement, eh? I'm excited as we await more rain tomorrow through Sunday ;-)
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Snow if fun, Lots of snow is really fun - but blizzards are dangerous.
ReplyDeleteI've survived two and have very scary memories. Falling trees, damaging winds, loss of power and heat, broken water pipes and water mains.
Pity and pray for all the folks who have to drive to work in hospitals and nursing homes and the like.
Hopefully the winds will not be too damaging and you will be able to stay inside, safe and warm - and don't lose power.
I like your outside decorations! I wish my husband would finish ours. ;) Good luck with the potential blizzard. I hope you don't lose power. We had bad winds and now snow and lost power for over 8 hours yesterday.....
ReplyDeleteQuit terrifying me with evil bird pictures will you? We got 14 inches, what did y'all get? I almost crashed my new (ish) car at a stop sign just as I was saying how well it handled last night.
ReplyDeleteIt hit us last night, hope everyone stays safe in your neck of the woods..
ReplyDeleteI envy u having snow to shoot at¡¡ nice warm shots.
ReplyDeleteGreat you went out and took this shots. I need to get out with my camera - it's been snowing and sleeting here for the past 24 hours!
ReplyDeleteLike eastcoastlife, I'm also excited to see snow but really hope that the blizzard will not bring too much chaos in your area ! keep yourself warm and be safe , Lisa!
ReplyDeleteI love the lighted Christmas decors covered in snow! But my face is the first photo - the apple. I feel like Snow White being tempted to bite that delicious apple:)
ReplyDeleteWe are waiting for one right now...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Shots! ;)
Merry Merry!
