I love to add new ornaments to the Christmas tree each year and last year I added a few birds. This little bird clips onto the branch.
This year I added this flamingo, just because I thought he was zany!
They look pretty happy on the tree, no?
He's even smiling.
Macro Monday is easy to play, snap a macro (or any close-up) photo, post it on your blog and come back here and sign MckLinky. Don't forget to visit each other. :)
Lisa, the birds are exquisite (so are your photos). I seem to remember having bird shaped all glass ornaments on our tree when I was a kid. I think they were clear glass and filled with a colored liquid. But that was so many years ago now. Who could remember. I remember the Christmas magic though.
ReplyDeleteI AM LOVING THAT FLAMINGO!
ReplyDeleteAgreed- that flamingo is completely cute! When we decorated our tree, I realized i have quite a few bird ornaments, so fun!
ReplyDeleteI love the flamingo. He is absolutely zany and that 's what I like about him. Beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteI love what you do. These are works of art.
ReplyDeleteI'm just as happy to be skipping the decorating bit this year. There's nobody coming to my house anyway. Which is good, 'cause it's in a shambles from the recent painting escapade. But the flamingo adds a nice touch of whimsy. Might as well have some fun with it, yeah?
ReplyDeleteI would love to see the whole tree decorated, must be really lovely Lisa.
ReplyDeleteCute decorations! Love the smiling flamingo. :)
ReplyDeleteLooove them..the flamingo is darling!!! Hope you are doing well, Sarah
ReplyDeleteI love that flamingo! It gave me a happy feeling. :)
ReplyDeleteMy sister in law would LOVE that flamingo! I wonder where I could find one!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the flamingo! The lighting in these shots is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHappy Macro Monday to everyone.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, would be my taste too ! I bought some little angels, and banned all Santas except two !
ReplyDeleteLike everyone else, I am mad about the smiling flamingo. I want one so much! Extremely cute.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAnd they made me smile :D
Beautiful light on your flamingo here!
ReplyDeleteThe ornaments are beautiful and the flamingo is definitely zany.
ReplyDeleteWhat a creative idea to put a flamingo ornament on the Christmas tree. It is really unusual and pretty! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe flamingo makes me smile--the other is so pretty
ReplyDeleteLove the flamingo! He's different, and would fit in well here in Florida. Snow-theme decorations just look ridiculous down here! Would you believe some folks put fake snowmen on their lawns here? LOL
ReplyDeleteThose are wonderful! I especially love their feathery tails! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE those ornaments. They are so pretty. I really like how they reflect and shine with the lights.
ReplyDeleteI love the expression on the flamingo's face! But why do you say he's zany? Why is a flamingo made of a puff of feathers any more zany than the other bird who is made of sequins? LOL!
ReplyDeleteBoth are pretty zany if you ask me! But they're fun! :D
So cute!
ReplyDeleteSuch a fluffy ornament that flamingo
ReplyDeleteI wish I could find that here !!!
I love it !!
how fun...and beautiful. that's a nice tradition you've created.
ReplyDeleteI love the flamingo. Very cute.
ReplyDeleteAll the ornaments are pretty but I LOVE the flamingo! I have 3 scattered around my computer desk but sadly none on my Christmas tree! Thanks again for hosting MM. There are lots of great photos represented each week.
ReplyDeleteeach one is wonderful, they would make great holiday cards!
