Beads are not something I'm used to seeing in a cemetery.

Beads and shells.

Not sure why one stone is in the pathway. . .In the background you can see an abandoned house with many vines covering it.

And another one here. I'm assuming these houses were damaged in Katrina.

feeling crabby?

Ever have one of those days when things just don't go exactly the way you thought they should?  It leaves me feeling a wee bit crabby.

About the photo:  We found these crab shells in Maine last summer and they have been residing in a ziplock bag, waiting for me to do something with them.  I noticed they were different sizes so looked for a place to stack them.  It wasn't as easy as you might think.  I needed the fronts of all of them to line up as best they could and still balance or I was left with only one shell in focus.  I stacked them on a wooden canoe paddle.
