Before moving to Wisconsin I never knew there were lakes that froze over enough to take cars out on. Everything you see here is Lake Winnebago (see the dock on the far right?), neat, right? There are old Christmas trees (I’m assuming that’s what they are) lined up from one shore to the other marking a ‘road’. And many fishing shacks scattered about.
A little further down the road, we pulled off at another place to put-in and I thought these ice formations were really neat. We assume they were made as the lake was freezing.
Huge chunks of ice protruding up.
I can walk on water! :0) In my crocs, even.

Strange to see cattails poking up outta the snow.
