couple
If I'm the Mourning Dove on the right, and my husband is the Dove on the left, you could say he's giving me the cold shoulder, or freezing me out in some way, but the way I see it, he's standing beside me through it all. He's even kind enough to step away a bit if I need some space, but not leave me completely. How lucky I am!

Bryguy!
My step-son, Bryan also lives in Missouri - he didn't like the Wisconsin cold very much, lol and moved back to MO a few years ago. This is the shortest his hair has been in a number of years! I wish I had his hair because it is beautifully curly when longer.
Being silly
Amber is quite a bit shorter than Bryan and she was even wearing heels! lol
Ahhhhh, aren't they cute?!
Hope to see you guys again soon!

Mikal Derek Steven
My oldest son, Mikal, turned 21 in December and as you can see he has two middle names. He was a couple of days old when the nurses kept pressuring me for a middle name to complete the birth certificate. I couldn't come up with one, then I came up with two and could not decide between them. When I later looked them up in a baby name book I found they mean nearly the same thing! Derek means 'ruler' and Steven means 'crowned one'. Cool, no?
You see him pictured here with his girlfriend, Amy. They have been a couple for 4 ½ years now. Amy graduated from tech school (architectural) this past spring and Mikal has now started tech school (IT). They live about 45 minutes from us so we don’t see them as much as we’d like.
I think they’ll make some pretty cute grandkids when they get around to that. ;) These photos were taken last month, but we took some really cool ones over the summer if you're interested.
