Funny you should mention spring, Lisa. I was just looking up at the tree in my backyard. With the late afternoon sunshine, the leaves took on a springy green. They hadn't started crisping around the edges yet. May these sun-drenched shots and the soft petals of roses keep you feeling warm and springy :-)
BEAUTIFUL ... and if you lived in California you'd find it Spring right now in the midst of Fall ... seriously it's going to be 80 degrees on Thanksgiving Day. Of course, we've also got a wildfire burning a few miles away so it's a mixed bag. I opened my reader this afternoon ... can you tell I'm doing a bit of catch up? Wish I had more time for the computer these days because I miss visiting more often. I suppose this too shall pass ;-) Hugs and blessings,
love the detail, that looks like a little tiny flying ant in the middle of the flowers. Ready or not--winter's knocking on the door.
ReplyDeleteI think you may have more hanger-on-ers than we do here. We've already had a super-mean frost.
ReplyDeleteWatch my Macro Monday photos this week, there is hope even in the autumn :-)
ReplyDeleteThose stowaways sure know how to make a party last!
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to see the Japanese Mums, I passed by the Rose garden and they were all dying...time to go! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers must be sweet to attract bees!
ReplyDeleteThis is when it finally starts getting nice in Florida...although, we are still in a heat wave right now!
ReplyDeleteLovely! The vivid colors are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThe last roses are always the sweetest... :o) It's cold where I am too... summer can come back--LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou've already had enough and it hasn't even started here yet. Most days we're not even down to jacket weather.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the "freeze dried" version of these ;)

ReplyDeleteI heard ya! I am so ready for a day with my butt in my beach chair and my feet in the sand. Only have to wait about 180 days!
ReplyDeleteSeriously! And now the time change is coming up and everything will be dark all the time (or at least that's how it will feel...).
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous, but my favorite is the last yellow one - it's sparkly!
Gorgeous roses, I especially love the last one!
