Ho Ho Ho Happy Holidays (Macro Monday)

Can you believe how quickly the time is flying?! A few more days and Christmas is upon us!

We added this adorable mouse in a mailbox ornament last year. I love getting Christmas cards in my mailbox, don't you?!

When we got our tree this year we found animal couples. We decided to add a pair to our tree and we chose the alligators. Now that might seem an odd choice, but there were no appropriate Wisconsin animals. There were lions, giraffes, elephants, but no deer, bears or badgers. So we chose the alligators since we were married in south Texas and we were able to see them wild there.

I also found a Santa riding a dragonfly, who could resist such whimsy?

Little happy things

Hope you don't mind, I couldn't help myself, I need to share some of my pretty new ornaments with you. I picked this squirrel up at the tree farm. I have had such joy playing with the squirrels this year that I could not resist it.

I add at least one new snowman each year. This one is holding a bird so I had to grab it up.

Starbucks is offering these adorable little deer and it was a no brainer to have one of them.

Would you believe I didn't have any birds, so I made a special point of picking a few of them up too.

This one made me laugh, its bottom 'snowball' is Neapolitan ice cream on a spoon.

And then there was Santa, he made me think of the old fashioned Santa Claus I saw last year.
